Listening Academy
Foundational for any type of care, the Listening Academy equips you to competently support others within health and social care environments, schools, churches and a range of other community services, by listening.
Good listening is a vital starting point for ministry and healing. If we desire to live in harmony with one another, and with the planet we share, we must learn to listen well. Healing often begins when we give people an opportunity to express their feelings of pain, hurt and anger alongside those of elation, joy, and laughter. When we begin to hear and understand in our own words our own story, healing can begin. The Listening Academy will enable you to develop the skills you need to connect with others, bringing movement, healing, and wholeness into their lives.
We do not charge for our events, but if you benefit from being a part of the Acorn Christian Listening Academy community, and would like to help others benefit too, you can make a donation.
Private bookings will encure a charge of £350 per day plus trainer travel expenses.
Upcoming Listening Academy Dates:
The Listening Academy is a great place to learn new listening skills, and we are finding that it is becoming increasinly popular IN PERSON rather than on Zoom. We are pleased to say that we will be holding the Listening Academy IN PERSON at our Healing Hub locations in 2025. We will be releasing new dates very soon, so stay tuned!
