The Sound of Silence
If David, King of ancient times, was standing beside us we would also experience the overwhelming awe of God's creation. A warrior yet a musician. author and poet he wrote 73 of the Psalms out of 150 we would agree with him when he wrote,
'The heavens declare the glory of God, the skies proclaim the work of His hands. The sun rises at one end of the heavens and marks its circuit to the other. Nothing is deprived of its warmth' Amen Psalms 19
This summertime, whether we are looking at the wild flowers in our gardens, the sunrises and sunsets, stars, or the brightness of the moon; we can remember all these while we are in prayer in our sound of silence and say thank you Lord.
Prayer ministers could please now pray with me this prayer:
Our Lord of all creation thank you for your perfection in creation which is so refreshing for the soul and reflects the all powerful You. Please show those who are overworked in their lives to slow down and freely receive your art work. In Jesus' name, amen.
With all love and blessings, Frances.
