Our Private Prayers to Our Heavenly Father
There are the times when as prayer ministers we need to take up the invitation that Jesus spoke of to his first disciples and the multitudes, about private prayer. In the presence of the Holy Spirit and totally focusing on God with a sincere heart to listen. Jesus invites us with His words -
'But thou when thou prayest, enter into thou closet, and when thou hast shut the door, pray to thy Father which is in secret, and thy Father which seeth in secret, shall reward you openly'. Amen. Matthew 6 verse 6.
In our private space with heads bowed in prayer this time is never wasted when our tears fall and we share our innermost needs and heartaches, our hurts and fears. Our thanks, delights and happiness for caring for us.
When we leave and close the door our burdens have been lifted and His peace is felt once again.
Can we please pray this peace for others. This peace that passses all understanding and is freely given.
Our Gracious Father, we pray for those who are seeking you and pray the knock on their door by you is heard. Oh then how you will say to them ' because I live, you shall live also'. Amen.
With blessings and love, Frances
