The Day Was Approaching
It is a tradition before a race in the North West 200 motorbike racing there is held a pre-race day church service at the start finish straight. A reflection is given along with prayers for the bikers for the challenge ahead. We would go every year to also pray for the bikers safety, as it is hard to persuade them not to race. Racing is in their blood.
The one verse I would say over as I am standing near reads -
'Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together , as the matter of some is, but exhorting one another, and so much the more, as we see the day approaching'
The week is over and all the biker's lives were in safety. Amen.

Our wonderful Heavenly Father, we pray for safety for all people who risk their lives whether it is through helping others or competing in a risky sport. Please let them be drawn to your light and be saved in your salvation for their lives. Through Jesus' sake amen.
