But, What If?

But, What If?

We've journeyed across the UK and beyond, and there's one thing we've noticed - it's no longer enough for you to just observe the Christian Healing Ministry, you're ready to dive in.

Just a short while ago, we were in the lovely town of Skegness at the ARISE conference, offering aid to those who needed it, physically, mentally, and spiritually.

Did you know that Skegness is a popular holiday destination, welcoming a whopping 4 million visitors each year? Yet, it seems to be a place where trust in others is a bit scarce, scoring a social trust percentage of -18.3%, significantly lower than the national average of -3.1%*. Did you also know that Skegness has one of the highest rates of Health Deprivation and Disability in the UK?

Given this, it's not surprising that our Skegness Healing Hub is keen to contribute locally to the Christian Healing Ministry. Their spirit embodies the values and behaviors of Jesus Christ, they're optimistic and believe that prayer and empathetic listening can spark change. They have faith in God's ability to bring healing and wholeness as they bring others to Him.

Perhaps you're also itching to get more involved in the Christian Healing Ministry within your own community, but you're unsure how, or if it's even allowed. Jesus does tell us in Matthew 10 that as disciples, we have the authority to:

  • Heal the sick
  • Raise the dead
  • Cleanse diseases
  • Cast out demons

We urge you, like our Healing Hub teams, to be open to God, so He can use you in this wonderful ministry. Embrace the 'But, what if?' rather than getting stuck in the 'what ifs'.

  • But, what if you pray for someone?
  • But, what if you listen to their story?
  • But, what if you lay hands on someone for the first time?
  • But, what if you create a safe, sacred space for someone to encounter God?
  • Bu, what if you share a word of knowledge?

If you're keen to explore this ministry further, don't hesitate to get in touch, we're always here for a chat! Our communities need the healing touch of God, and through the National Network of Christian Healing Hubs, we're noticing more prayers being offered for more people, bringing the Kingdom of God closer to earth.
