My oh May.. What a Month!

We were fortunate to collaborate with prayer ministers at Westminster Central Hall for their yearly Methodist Healing Conference. With around 200 attendees, the Keynote Speaker, Rev Wes Sutton (a familiar name to some!), delivered an inspiring day titled 'The Healing Ministry Has Left The Building'. Almost every guest received healing prayers. The Acorn team excelled in offering prayers to numerous guests, and it was a privilege to anoint them with oil for healing and their commissioning.

LINCOLNSHIRE AND MIDLANDS REGIONAL HUB TRAINING DAY

When we last wrote, we were engaged with our South East Healing Hubs, providing ministry and training. This month, we had the opportunity to visit our Lincolnshire and Midlands Healing Hubs. The visit was truly uplifting! Wes, Sue, and Lisa connected with teams in Bourne, Skegness, and Horncastle to deliver a training session on ‘No Ministry is Value Free’. Have you pondered your ministry values and how they were shaped? During the day, Healing Hub teams delved into their core values, what they stand firm on, and how they approach praying for individuals whose beliefs challenge their own. Subsequently, we divided into groups of three to offer prayers using the Acorn Prayer Ministry technique. Each person experienced a profound encounter with God – a moment of immense gratitude. If you are located in this area and seek prayer support or wish to join a Healing Hub team, please reach out to us.

WELCOME, JANET!

Janet Sherbourne is a new addition to Acorn’s Board of Trustees. We appreciate Janet's qualities, expertise, and her belief in God as the Healer. Janet is associated with the Guildford Healing Hub. Let's warmly welcome Janet and support her with our prayers as she embarks on this new journey.

ACORN HEALING CONFERENCE 2024: Leicester

On the way to Lincolnshire to join our Healing Hub teams, Wes had a meeting with Bishop Martyn Snow, the Keynote Speaker for this year's Annual Healing Conference. They discussed Christian Healing in the Diocese and beyond, and finalized plans for the upcoming event. Bishop Martyn Snow will address the topic 'Christ The Healer in all Cultures,' and we are eagerly anticipating it! Additionally, Dr. Mary Sutton will share insights on Mary of Bethany, a commissioning service will be held for those involved in the Christian Healing Ministry, and there will be ample worship and prayer for healing. To register, either scan the QR code provided or visit www.acornchristian.org. The conference is free this year, but registration is essential as spots are filling up fast. Secure your spot now to avoid missing out!

THANK YOU, ISLE OF MAN

Wes flew swiftly from Gatwick to the Isle of Man to meet with a retreat center and a group interested in establishing an Acorn Christian Healing Hub on the IOM. We appreciate the warm hospitality extended by our hosts and the time dedicated to Acorn. Throughout the ages, God's presence has been evident here, and now Acorn becomes a part of this rich history.

ACORN CHRISTIAN HEALING ACADEMY

On average, 45 guests attend the Acorn Christian Healing Academy monthly, with additional viewers online! This serves as our primary training program for individuals keen on Christian Healing Ministry and involvement in Healing Hubs. If you're interested in learning more about Christian Healing, you are welcome to join us. All the information can be found here, and everyone is invited to participate.
